Jersey City, N.J. – October, 2024 – Narra Collective, a family-friendly coworking space designed by parents for parents, will officially open its doors on October 28 with a week-long celebration filled with free coworking and events for the whole family. Located at 333 Washington Street, Jersey City, Narra Collective is tailored to working parents seeking a better balance between work and family life.
“Our goal with Narra Collective is to create a space where parents don’t have to choose between being productive and being present for their children,” said Sheila Burmistrova, Founder and CEO of Narra Collective. “It’s a community space where parents can focus on their careers while their children enjoy fun, enriching activities just steps away.”
The coworking space occupies the entire 3rd floor of the building, with over 11,000 sq ft of real estate and features flexible workspace solutions equipped with high-speed WiFi, unlimited coffee and tea, meeting rooms, printing services, and more. Members also receive access to Narra’s Family Lounge, open for children 0-12 years old from 3–5 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on Saturdays. While childcare services are not provided, the lounge offers a welcoming space where children can safely explore, play, or do homework, while their parents work nearby.
Soft Launch Celebration & Halloween Party
To celebrate its launch, Narra Collective invites families to a free Halloween party on October 30, from 3–5 p.m. ET. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and join in the fun, which includes live music from A Sound Start, a local music program for young children, along with food, giveaways, and trick-or-treating. The event is free and open to the public.
Free Week of Coworking and Events
Narra Collective is also offering free coworking from October 28 to November 1. Parents and professionals are welcome to work from the space from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (and Saturday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). In addition to free coworking, the week will feature a variety of special events, including:
- Open Play for Kids: Narra’s Family Lounge will offer enriching activities for children while parents work.
- Workshops and Classes: Engage in sessions designed for personal and professional growth, with options for the entire family.
